Expertise:
Harman is an agricultural economist engaged in research on the
emerging and conventional farm production and management alternatives,
their costs, income and relative profitability. His most recent
research efforts focus on the economic feasibility of new and
innovative cropping systems involving alternative tillage systems
and best management practices. Harman's program at present integrates
the use of precision agriculture technology with environmental
issues. A multidisciplinary effort has been developed for the
economic analyses based on results of scientists in engineering,
agronomy, weed science, entomology and other disciplines.
