Expertise:
Lascano's work is focused on water balance and hydrology, micrometeorology, irrigation management, soil-water measurement, computer modeling and simulation, in relation to precision agriculture, spatial statistics and remote sensing applications. He teaches a graduate level class on soil-plant relations at Texas Tech University and has served on graduate committee of 8 students and supervised one M.S. and one Ph. D. student. He is active in Soil Science Society of America, served as associate editor of the Agronomy Journal, currently serving as AJ technical editor in agroclimatology and agronomic models.
