Expertise: Reed joined the research staff at the Lubbock Center
in August 2001 as a Research Associate for the peanut physiology
research group led by Dr. Mike Schubert. Reed assists with planning,
implementing, and reporting phases of the peanut research program.
He is involved with the global positioning satellite-referenced
peanut yield mapping, assisting peanut breeders with advanced
line tests in the West Texas area, analyzing peanut fatty acid
profiles, and overseeing observation and sampling of peanut producers'
fields. Reed works with FieldWorker Pro, SAS statistical software
and ArcView GIS software.
