Expertise:
Workneh is an assistant research scientist with the Texas Agricultural
Experiment Station at Bushland. His background and experience
is in plant disease ecology and epidemiology. In the past he
has worked with ecology and epidemiology of tomato and soybean
diseases under various management practices using multivariate
statistics. At present, he primarily works with diseases of
sugar beets and sorghum. Workneh's focus in Precision Agriculture
is on spatial distributions of diseases caused by foliar fungal
pathogens and soil-borne viruses.
